Veins of the hand: Palmar view (English)

Palmar digital veins drain the palmar aspect of the fingers and empty into either the superficial venous palmar arch or the dorsal venous network via communicating intercapitular veins. Palmar metacarpal veins drain into the deep venous palmar arch. The superficial and deep venous palmar networks follow their arterial counterparts draining blood into the ulnar and radial veins.
