Skeletal system (Latin)

The systema skeletale is divided into two parts; the skeleton axiale and the skeleton appendiculare. The skeleton axiale consists of the bones that form the longitudinal axis of the body; the cranium, columna vertebralis and skeleton thoracis. The skeleton appendiculare is attached to the skeleton axiale, it is composed of the ossa membri superioris, ossa membri inferioris, including the ossa cinguli pectoralis and the ossa cinguli pelvici.
