Skeletal system (English)

The skeletal system is divided into two parts; the axial skeleton and the appendicular skeleton. The axial skeleton consists of the bones that form the longitudinal axis of the body; the skull, vertebral column and thoracic cage. The appendicular skeleton is attached to the axial skeleton, it is composed of the bones of the free upper and lower limbs, as well as the pectoral and pelvic girdles.
