Scrotum and spermatic cord (Latin)

The scrotum consists of several layers: skin (cutis), tunica darta scroti (with m. dartos), fascia spermatica externa, fascia cremasterica (with m. cremaster), and fascia spermatica interna. The fascia spermatica interna is loosely attached to the lamina parietalis of tunicae vaginalis testis. Structures in the spermatic cord (funiculus spermaticus) include the ductus deferens, a. ductus deferentis, a. testicularis, plexus pampiniformis, a. cremasterica and v. cremasterica, ramus genitalis nervi genitofemoralis, plexus autonomici testicularis, and vasa lymphatici funiculi spermatici. The fascias enclosing the contents of the spermatic cord (funiculus spermaticus) include the fascia spermatica interna, fascia cremasterica (with m. cremaster), and fascia spermatica interna.
