Peripheral nervous system: main plexuses (English)

Spinal plexuses are formed by the anterior rami of spinal nerves. The cervical plexus (C1-C4) supplies nerves to the posterior head and neck; the brachial plexus (C5-T1) supplies nerves to the upper limb; the lumbar plexus (T12-L5) supplies nerves to the anterior lower limb; and the sacral plexus (S1-S4) supplies nerves to the posterior lower limb.
