Nervous system (English)

The nervous system is divided into central and peripheral components. The central nervous system (CNS) consists of the brain and spinal cord, which reside in the skull and vertebral canal, respectively. The peripheral nervous system (PNS) gathers all the neural tissues outside the CNS, namely, all the nerves, plexuses and ganglia of the body.
