Nerves and vessels of the abdominal wall (English)
Nerves and vessels of the abdominal wall (English)
The neurovascular structures of the anterolateral abdominal wall encompass the vessels disseminated bilaterally from the posterior axillary line to the linea alba on the anterior abdominal wall. These vessels originate from the internal thoracic, external iliac and intercostal vessels, as well as from the femoral artery and the greater saphenous vein. The main nerves originate mainly from the lumbar and sacral nervous plexuses.
