Main veins of the upper limb (Portuguese)

As veias do membro superior formam duas redes venosas interconectadas; uma superficial e outra profunda. As veias superficiais são a rede venosa dorsal, e as veias cefálica, basílica e intermédia do cotovelo. As veias profundas são os arcos venosos palmares, e as veias radial, ulnar, braquial, axilar e subclávia. Todas as veias do membro superior acabam por drenar na veia braquiocefálica e depois na veia cava superior, esvaziando o seu conteúdo no átrio direito do coração. As veias superficiais maiores do membro superior são usadas frequentemente para a punção venosa, já que são facilmente acessíveis.
