Lymphatics of the heart (Latin)

Lymphatics of the heart (Latin)

The truncus lymphaticus coronarius dexter travels in the sulcus coronarius, courses anterior to the aorta ascendens, and ends in the nodi lymphoidei brachiocephalici, usually on the left. Lymph drained from here is usually received by the ductus thoracicus. The truncus lymphaticus coronarius sinister travels superiorly in the sulcus interventricularis anterior, passes between the truncus pulmonalis and the atrium sinistrum before draining into the nodi lymphoidei tracheobronchiales inferiores. Lymph is then drained to the ductus lymphaticus dexter.
