FDI/ISO System (deciduous teeth) (Latin)

FDI/ISO System (deciduous teeth) (Latin)

For the dentes decidui/primi, the teeth are also divided into quadrants and the system uses a similar format as with the dentes permanentes. However the numbering of the quadrants changes in comparison to the dentes permanentes (upper right quadrant =5, upper left quadrant = 6, lower left quadrant =7, lower left right quadrant = 8). For example, the dens caninus dexter maxillaris receives the number ‘53’ since it’s located in quadrant 5 and it’s the 3rd tooth working mesial to distal.
