Endocrine system (English)

The endocrine system is composed of endocrine glands found throughout the body. The key endocrine glands include the pineal gland, pituitary gland, thyroid gland, parathyroid gland (not visible on this image), thymus, pancreas, adrenal glands, ovary and testis. Each of these glands secretes hormones that are in charge of the specific body functions.
