Arteries of the foot (Latin)

This image demonstrates the arterial network of the foot (dorsum of the foot on the left, sole of the foot on the right), formed by the branches of the two main arteries; a. dorsalis pedis (branch of a. tibialis anterior) and a. plantaris medialis and lateralis (branches of a. tibialis posterior). Notice the anastomoses and arterial arches that these vessels form in order to supply the foot.
