Anterior view of the skull (Latin)

Two ossa temporalia, two ossa parietalia, the os sphenoideum, os ethmoideum and the os frontale can be observed from this perspective. These are all bones of the neurocranium. Most bones of the viscerocranium are also present: the vomer, two conchae nasales inferiores, two ossa nasalia, two maxillae, the mandible, two ossa zygomatica, and two ossa lacrimalia. The skull bones form two anatomical spaces, the bony orbit which houses the eyeballs and the nasal cavity.
