Medial wall of the nasal cavity (Latin)

The septum nasi divides into the right and left chambers. This septum has both bony and cartilaginous parts, comprised mainly by the lamina perpendicularis ossis ethmoidalis, the vomer and the cartilago septi nasi. The septum nasi is smooth and mostly featureless, and like the rest of the nasal cavity, it is covered with nasal mucosa.
