Shoulder (glenohumeral) joint (Latin)

Shoulder (glenohumeral) joint (Latin)

We can see that there are several ligaments that reinforce the capsula articularis and stabilize the joint. These are the ligg. coracohumerale and transversum humeri, that support the joint from its superior side, and the ligg. glenohumerale superius, medius and inferius that support it from the anteroinferior side. In this view, we can also see the musculi cuffiae musculotendineae converging to surround the shoulder joint; these are the mm. supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor and subscapularis.
