Plexi nervorum spinalium are formed by the ramus anterior nervi spinalis. The plexus cervicalis (C1-C4) supplies nerves to the posterior head and neck; the plexus brachialis (C5-T1) supplies nerves to the upper limb; the plexus lumbalis supplies nerves to the anterior limb; and the plexus sacralis (S1-S4) supplies nerves to the posterior lower limb.
