Lymphatics of the male genitalia (Latin)

Lymphatics of the male genitalia (Latin)

The organa genitalia masculina externa (skin of scrotum, penis) are primarily drained by the nll. inguinales superficiales et profundi. Lymph from the nll. inguinales is then drained to the nll. iliaci externi, which in addition to the nll. iliaci interni, also drain the organa genitalia masculina interna (prostata, glandulae seminales, etc.).The exception of this are the testes, epididymides and proximal ductus deferentes which drain directly to the nll. lumbales, via vessels along the aa. gonadales.
