Veins of the hand: Palmar view (Latin)

Vv. digitales palmares drain the palmar aspect of the fingers and empty into either the arcus venosus palmaris superficialis or the rete venosum dorsale via communicating vv. intercapitulares. Vv. metacarpeae palmares drain into the arcus venosus palmaris profundus. The rete venosum palmaris superficialis et profundus follow their arterial counterparts, draining blood into the v. ulnaris and v. radialis.
