Male urinary bladder (Latin)

A coronal (coronalis) section of the vesica urinaria masculina and surrounding structures. This section displays the corpus vesicae, fundus vesicae and cervix vesicae. Several main internal features of the vesica urinaria are visible, such as the trigonum vesicae, the left and right ostium ureteres, plica interureterica and the uvula vesicae. The cervix vesicae masculina lies superior to the prostate (prostata), and extends into its parenchyma as the urethra.
